Le Sentier, the Paris startup district
Le Sentier covers the eastern part of the 2nd arrondissement, between rue Réaumur, rue Saint-Denis and the Grands Boulevards. Long a textile and garment district, it took in the first Paris internet startups in the late 1990s, to the point that people called it “Silicon Sentier”. Agencies, studios and young companies still work here, next to the sewing workshops.
Your guests know the area and get here easily after work: Sentier, Réaumur-Sébastopol, Strasbourg-Saint-Denis and Bonne-Nouvelle metro stations, lines 3, 4, 8 and 9. We share the exact address when you book.
Five evening formats at swanbase
- Conference or talk. 60 guests seated facing the large screen, one speaker, a Q&A session.
- Product launch or press evening. A demo on the touchscreen, then a standing cocktail reception.
- Reception or client evening. Up to 60 guests, a caterer and a coffee bar.
- Team after-work drinks. Your colleagues meet outside the office, in a venue on a human scale.
- Private dinner. One long table in a warm room, served by our caterer.
A warm room in the evening
In the evening, the backlit coffered ceilings and the pendant lights give the room a soft light. The rust velvet armchairs, the palm trees and the colorful canvases on the walls create a living-room feel, far from a hotel meeting room. Wooden floors underfoot; between the tables, two exposed stone pillars.
We run our own evening conferences here for 60 people, and our opening party brought together more than 50 guests. You hire a room already used to this format.
Catering and barista for your guests
Add a caterer for a standing buffet or a seated dinner: give us the number of guests and their dietary requirements, and we add the menu to the quote. Add a barista to serve specialty coffee, V60, matcha and chai latte during the evening.
